FR-UI-1's table puts tablet portrait in the compact class, and no decision since agrees with it.

The register (docs/requirements.md §FR-UI-1) reads:

Class Typical Develop layout
Compact Tablet portrait, narrow desktop window Canvas full-width; one collapsible panel at a time; filmstrip on demand
Expanded Tablet landscape, desktop Filmstrip, canvas, and adjustment panel simultaneously

D-N2 (docs/ui-navigation.md) established that both orientations of the tablet clear EXPANDED_MIN_WIDTH and are expanded. D-N7 then adds an axis the table has no column for: on a tall window the column docks under the photograph, independent of class.

Deliverable

Amend FR-UI-1 so the register says what the code does:

  • Tablet portrait moves to the expanded row.
  • A sentence records that the develop column's side — beside or below the canvas — follows the window's aspect and is independent of the class, citing D-N7.
  • The "transition is continuous rather than a mode switch" clause stays; the dock is a placement, not a mode.

docs/traceability.md regenerates in the same commit (the pre-commit hook does it).

Acceptance

  • FR-UI-1 names the aspect axis and cites D-N7
  • Tablet portrait is no longer listed as compact
  • The traceability matrix is regenerated in the same commit

Amended on branch docs/fr-ui-1-portrait (commit d91f468), merged into integrate/portrait-dock. Tablet portrait moved to the expanded row; the aspect axis is recorded citing D-N7; FR-UI-2 gains the D-N6 clause. Traceability unchanged.

Landed in 2361b2d. Tablet portrait is in the expanded row, the develop column's side is recorded as a placement following the window's aspect and independent of the class, citing D-N7, and the continuous-transition clause stands. The traceability matrix has been regenerated since and is consistent with the tree.
